Message	Any shop I've ever talked to for a motor pull and reinstall is around $1,000. Doing anything while the motor is out is additional. There is NO way a simple motor R&R should be $3,500. Assuming the shop had an astronomical labor rate of $75 per hour that means you were charged 46.67 hours for an engine install. That is robbery!
